With the deepening of the IT construction at BlueStar's piloting subsidiaries, the Continuous Improvement (CI) program was kicked off at both BlueStar Shenyang Chemical Industry Group and BlueStar Petrochemical (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. in early March.
At the kick-off meeting on March 3rd, Mr. Wang Dazhuang, President of Shenyang Group and Vice-president of BlueStar, signed a letter of commitment with the project manager from Atos Origin, pledging the company's efforts to implement the CI program in real earnest. The initial stage is expected to cultivate sound Lean Six Sigma management which will help yield various benefits valued at RMB5 million for the company.
A similar kick-off meeting was also held at BlueStar Petrochemical (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. the following day. With a full presence of the company management and Atos Origin experts in the Lean Six Sigma training, the meeting marks the overall rollout of the CI program. Training was even provided on the spot to the attendees after the conclusion of the kick-off meeting. (Han Jingchao, Mao Xueqiang)
