The ChemChina Petrochemical (Tianjin) Co held a work safety commission meeting, on Jan 4, to announce its Safety, Environmental Protection and Occupational Health plan for the coming year, and its overall work safety plan.
Tianjin Petrochemical has set higher work safety, environmental protection and occupational health goals for the new year in the area of fatalities, injuries, accidents, losses, and pollution. It says it will work hard on work safety, environmental protection, and health awareness among employees, and build a safety culture based on cherishing life and not making a profit from blood. The company wants its employees to understand that all accidents are preventable and risks avoidable.
